GMU Ice Hockey Alumni Foundation Starts Gofundme in Support of 2022-2023 Season

Although George Mason University does provide some funding for the Men's Division I ice hockey team, it is not enough to cover all expenses associated with the 2022-2023 season. The school's funding covers ice time for practices and games, but is not enough to cover other costs such as travel for games and equipment costs. Currently, the team works to fund these expenses via fundraising efforts and player dues.  Mason Ice Hockey Alumni players understand that more funding is needed to continue elevating the program and afford seasons expected of Division I teams.

As a result, the Alumni Foundation created a Gofundme page seeking to raise the $40,000.00 necessary to pay for the season's additional costs. All donations are tax deductible as the Foundation is a 501(C)(3) Corporation.

More information on donating to the fundraising effort can be found here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/20222023-gmu-ice-hockey-program?utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1&utm_medium=email&utm_source=customer
